Principle of Spin Flash Dryer:

Hot air enters the stirring smashing drying room through an inlet pipe at a suitable spray speed, and further generates strong shearing, blowing and rotation effect to materials, so materials are micronized under centrifugal effect, shearing, collision and friction, and the mass and heat transfer is strengthened.

Materials can enter the dryer by a screw feeder, and are dispersed by collision, friction and shearing of a high-speed revolving mixer, in which lumpy materials are smashed quickly and fully contact with hot air to be heated and dried. Dry powder material after dewatered rise with hot blast, wherein large particles will be intercepted by grading ring, small particles will be discharged from the center of the ring and collected by the cyclone separator, wet or lumpy materials will be thrown to the wall under the centrifugal effect, and fall on the bottom to be smashed and dried again.

As gas phase and solid phase swirl, the inertia of solid phase is larger than that of gas phase, larger relative velocity between solid phase and gas phase strengthens the heat transfer character of two phases, so the production intensity is higher.

Application:

Organics:

Atrazine (pesticide), lauric acid, benzoic acid, folpet, sodium oxalate, cellulose acetate, organic pigments, etc.

Dyes:

Anthraquinone, black ferric oxide, indigo blue pigment, butyric acid, titanium hydroxide, zinc sulfide, all azo dye intermediates.

Inorganics:

Borax, calcium carbonate, hydroxide, copper sulfate, ferric oxide, barium carbonate, antimony trioxide, all metal hydroxides, all heavy metallic salts, synthesized cryolite, etc.

Food:

Soy protein, gelatinized starch, stillage, triticin, wheat starch, etc.

Features:

As materials are micronized under the centrifugal effect, shearing, collision and friction and are highly dispersed, larger relative velocity between solid phase and gas phase strengthens the mass and heat transfer, so the production intensity is higher.

Dry air enters the bottom of the dryer and generates a strong swirling flow that can strongly scour and bring out materials on the wall, thereby eliminating adhesion of materials to the wall. Heat sensitive materials will not contact directly with hot surface at the lower high temperature zone of the dryer, however, a special device provided can solve the problems of coking and discoloring of heat sensitive materials.

Due to high air speed and short detention time of material in drying chamber, the dryer shows high efficiency, speediness, and large yield. A ceramic ring and a spinning disk arranged on the upper part of drying room can control the granularity and temperature of materials discharged, so as to meet the final moisture and granularity requirements of different materials.
